Dr. Jones, MD
Dr. Wesley Jones is a board-certified, dual fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in cranial and spinal surgery. He has significant experience in robotic-assisted surgery and is the first neurosurgeon in the Houston area to provide this cutting-edge option for patients undergoing spinal or cranial surgery. His extensive and diverse training gives him the ability to treat his patients with an array of innovative and traditional procedures that are best suited to their individual diagnoses and needs.
He received his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Where he became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Jones completed neurosurgical residency training at the Vivian L. Smith Department of Neurosurgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Jones is fellowship trained in two sub-specialties: including a cerebrovascular/endovascular fellowship from McGovern Medical School, and a complex spine fellowship from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
As a native of the greater Houston area, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their three energetic, adventurous, and fun-loving daughters. He also enjoys various activities like hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching the Houston Astros. Click here to learn more.
